Familial disseminated atypical mycobacterial disease
M Newport, M Levin - Immunology letters, 1994 - Elsevier
Mycobacterial disease remains a major public health problem and there appears to be a
genetic component underlying susceptibility. This paper describes a group of related
children who appear to have a genetic predisposition to disseminated atypical
mycobacterial infection. Identification of the defect in this group could lead to better
understanding of the genetics of susceptibility to mycobacterial infection.
